The 59th Annual West Liberty Labor Day Festival wraps up with People’s Savings and Loan “FAMILY DAY”…a full day of family friendly events on Labor Day, Monday September 2. A DJ will be spinning your favorite tunes, so kids are invited to come join the dance party near the Lions Park splash pad, starting at 8:30 AM. The Liberty Spirit 5K run/walk starts at 9:00 AM. Performance Dogs will have several shows starting at 10:00 AM, noon and 2:00 PM, The Magic Nate Show will be at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, PLUS there will be face painting, inflatables, and caricature artists for the kiddos throughout the day. A chicken barbecue by Rudy’s Smokehouse will be available beginning at 11:00 AM and Buckeye Outlaw cart racing will be featured on the pulling track, starting at 1:00 PM. At 4:00 a drawing will be held for the kids who participate in the annual scavenger hunt and the Festival concludes with the annual golf cart raffle drawing at 5:00 PM. Be sure to get your golf cart raffle tickets between now and Labor Day from any West Liberty Lions Club members, at the Village Town Hall clerk’s office, or at the Lions information booth over Labor Day weekend.
