Unless you have been overseas for the last few months, you know the region has had several rainy days this summer. Sadly, recent heavy rains have forced several events to be canceled. But not the Indian Lake Fall Festival.
Attendees of the annual festival, held at the Indian Lake Campgrounds, will need to know that parking at the campground is extremely limited. Organizers of the event have released parking details for the weekend events, which begin Friday afternoon and close on Sunday afternoon.
Indian Lake Park Manager Hiedie Whitman said that the recent rains have forced the campground to close parking for everyone except handicapped visitors, vendors, and registered campers. There are several options available to festivalgoers, including a shuttle service that will run constantly on Friday and Saturday only:
For those attendees who do not wish to use the shuttle service, there will be parking available at the Lakeside Hope Church of the Nazarene.
Whitman said those only picking up mums will need to follow the signs to the pick-up area and then to the exit.
Attendees are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow extra time.
