The Logan County Chamber of Commerce will present its annual awards to community members and local organizations at the Stars in Business Night of Recognition on Wednesday, November 4. Award nominations are solicited from Chamber and community members and the 2026 award winners were selected by the Chamber’s award selection committee.
The Integrity in Business Award is presented to a Logan County business that upholds a steadfast commitment to honesty, fairness, and accountability with employees, customers, and vendors. Recipients go above and beyond to do the right thing and consistently deliver high standards of care to all. The 2026 Integrity in Business Award will be presented to the Logan County Electric Cooperative.
The Nonprofit Organization of the Year Award is presented to an organization whose passion, innovation, and impact have made a meaningful difference in our community. The recipient organization demonstrates exceptional leadership, responsible stewardship of resources, and the ability to mobilize people and partnerships to address important community needs. This award celebrates organizations whose work inspires others and strengthens the fabric of our community. This year’s Nonprofit of the Year Award will be presented to the Logan County Education Foundation.
The Entrepreneur of the Year Award is presented to an individual who has made a significant investment in and impact on Logan County through their business. This individual’s innovation and ability provides products, services, and employment opportunities to the county and is vital to the growth of our community. The 2026 Entrepreneur of the Year Award will be given to Misti Smith, owner of Honestly Clean.
The Small Business of the Year Award is presented to an independently owned and operated Logan County business with a substantial history of success and a strong presence in the community. Eligible businesses must demonstrate financial strength and profitability and have a proven record of growth and sustainability. This year’s Small Business of the Year Award will be given to Native Coffee Co.
The Young Professional of the Year Award is presented to an individual aged 20-40 with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. The winner of this award has devoted time to improving our community by actively demonstrating leadership, initiative, and engagement as they build their career in Logan County. The 2026 Young Professional of the Year Award will be given to Keyne Strickland, Leasing & Property Manager with Small Nation.
The Logan County Visitors Bureau awards the Max Evans Tourism Award annually to the individual that demonstrates a commitment to promoting the unique character and places that make our community special. Their efforts help draw visitors and strengthen our community’s reputation as a destination worth exploring. The 2026 Max Evans Tourism Award will be presented to JD Harshfield, Manager of Ohio Caverns.
The annual Richard J. Rupp Leadership Award is presented to the person who has made a significant impact in Logan County with their outstanding leadership skills. This person will be recognized for their commitment, vision, and dedication to the community. The 2026 Richard J. Rupp Leadership Award will be posthumously awarded to Kris Myers.
