Crash closes U.S. 33 in Logan County

A crash closed part of U.S. Route 33 in Logan County on Wednesday morning.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened shortly after 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 33 and Township Road 99.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation with assistance from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, and authorities temporarily shut down the roadway while they worked the crash.

At this time, officials have not released information regarding injuries, how many vehicles were involved, or what may have caused the crash.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes until the roadway reopens.
