According to law enforcement, just after 9:00 AM on Friday, a black Toyota sedan crossed left of center on U.S. 33 in Lakeview, near the intersection of Township Road 239, and collided with a semi.

No injuries were reported.

Deputies with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office handled the crash, and the roadway was closed for about an hour.

An arrest was made as a result of the crash.

It’s believed that impaired driving may have been a factorin the crash.

This incident comes as more than a dozen local officers recently completed a two-day Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement — or ARIDE — training.

The session was hosted by the Russells Point Police Department and conducted by the state.

A deputy who responded to Friday’s crash had attended that training.
