A 27-year-old man from Marysville was arrested early Sunday morning after he was reported acting suspiciously at Cranberry Resort and later pulled over for suspected drunk driving.
Just before midnight on Saturday, deputies were called to the bar after someone said a man had been following a woman around the bar for hours.
The man was described as wearing khaki shorts and a baseball jersey with the number 11, and he was seen driving a blue Honda.
When deputies arrived, the car was there but empty.
About 40 minutes later, deputies saw the same car pass by in Russells Point.
The driver, later identified as Jordan Jones, was seen weaving in his lane, using his turn signals strangely, and driving very slowly.
Deputies stopped Jones after he turned into the back lot of the Cobblestone Hotel.
As they spoke with Jones, he showed several signs of impairment.
He was confused and said he had not been drinking, though open alcohol containers were in plain sight in the car.
Once out of the vehicle, they noticed a strong smell of alcoholic beverages coming from Jones and found more open containers inside.
Deputies also discovered that Jones was driving on a suspended license from a previous violation.
He was arrested and taken to jail, where Jones refused to take a breath test.
His license was taken, and Jones was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) and open container.
