A Logan County woman was arrested Thursday night after a traffic stop that led to impaired driving charges.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies on patrol just before 9:00 PM were traveling eastbound on State Route 117 near State Route 273 when they noticed a westbound vehicle with only one working headlight.

The vehicle was also seen crossing over the fog line as it passed the patrol unit.

A traffic stop was initiated, and deputies noticed that the driver, Angelica Johnson, 40, of Waynesfield, showed several signs of intoxication.

Johnson told law enforcement that she had been drinking earlier in the evening and admitted to consuming three 12-ounce beers at a bar in Belle Center.

She declined to perform standardized field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.

Johnson was transported to the Logan County Jail, where she blew a breath test of a blood alcohol concentration of 0.189, which is more than twice the legal limit.

She was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence and failure to drive within marked lanes, then released to a sober driver.
