A Bellefontaine man is facing multiple felony charges after an investigation into sex-related crimes involving several victims.
According to a media release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, detectives served an active arrest warrant on 40-year-old Gene “Wesly” Grant on Friday.
Authorities say the arrest followed an investigation that spanned several months.
Grant was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
He is currently facing multiple charges, including:
- Two counts of rape, both first-degree felonies, involving a victim under the age of 13
- One additional count of rape, a first-degree felony
- One count of felonious assault, a second-degree felony
- One count of gross sexual imposition, a fourth-degree felony
- One count of kidnapping with a sexual motivation specification, a first-degree felony
- Two counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person, including one second-degree felony and one fourth-degree felony
The investigation remains ongoing.
