Bellefontaine Police Department responded to a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning around 5:00 a.m. on County Road 10.
According to police, a 2007 Honda Accord driven by Evan Walter, 25, of Bellefontaine, was traveling eastbound when the driver reported sliding on a patch of ice and losing control of the vehicle.
The car left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Walter was cited for failure to control.
No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
