The Kinney sisters of Logan County had an impressive day Thursday at the Ohio State Fair, capturing the top two honors in the 2026 Market Turkey Show.
Alexandra Kinney exhibited the Grand Champion Market Turkey, while her sister, Alivia Kinney, earned Reserve Grand Champion.
The competition was judged by Jacob Bates of Charleston, Arkansas.
Alexandra also claimed first place in Market Turkey Class 1, while Alivia took first in Class 4.
The success continued in the Meat Chicken competition, where Alexandra finished third overall after winning Class 1.
Alivia added another first-place finish by winning Class 5, while Matthew Wilhelm of Champaign County placed second in that class.
Samuel Wilhelm of Champaign County earned first place in Class 2.
