Graham Local Schools Superintendent Chad Lensman has announced he will resign from his position effective July 31, 2026, after accepting a new role with Fairborn City Schools. Lensman will assume the position of Director of Curriculum and Instruction, concluding four years of leadership with Graham Local Schools.
The following is a statement from Superintendent Lensman:
I will be resigning my position as Superintendent at Graham Local Schools as of July 31, 2026, to take the Director of Curriculum and Instruction position at Fairborn City Schools.
I am thankful for the trust placed in me to lead this district over the past four years. It has been an honor to serve Graham Local Schools, and I am proud of the work we have accomplished, particularly the progress we have made while operating under a very tight budget. Through collaboration, thoughtful decision-making, and a shared commitment to students, we have been able to do some truly meaningful work for the district and community.
I remain fully committed to supporting the district to the best of my ability for the remainder of this year and will assist with the leadership transition in any way I can.
The staff of Graham Local Schools does incredible work for students every day. They are dedicated, talented, and deeply committed to this district. It is my sincere hope that they receive the same opportunities, resources, and support afforded to neighboring districts, so they can continue to provide the high-quality education our students deserve.
I am proud of what we have accomplished together and wish the district continued success in the years ahead.
The Board of Education is in the process of planning for the upcoming superintendent search.
