Wednesday night, an intimate crowd gathered at the Red Apple Barn outside of Bellefontaine for a “Meet the Candidates” event hosted by the Logan County Grassroots Democrats.

The event gave local residents an opportunity to hear directly from several Democratic candidates seeking office in the upcoming election, including Allison Russo, John Kulewicz, Josh Kolasinski, Sheila Coresel, and Miranda Warren.

Victoria Maddox was scheduled to attend but was unable to participate due to illness.

Candidates discussed their backgrounds, priorities, and visions for Ohio, as well as the issues facing Logan County and surrounding communities.

Topics included economic development, education, healthcare, infrastructure, and the challenges rural communities face across west-central Ohio.

Attendees also had the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the candidates.

In addition to candidate presentations, attendees enjoyed a light buffet, participated in a silent auction, and took part in a 50/50 drawing.

The gathering was held at the Red Apple Barn on Township Road 199 and was organized by the Logan County Grassroots Democrats as part of their efforts to connect voters with candidates and encourage civic engagement throughout the region.
