A 60-year-old Maplewood man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash Thursday night in Quincy.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 8:45 p.m. on County Road 34 near State Route 235.
Troopers say Lawrence Day was riding a 2006 Honda Shadow northwest on County Road 34 when he traveled off the left side of the road and laid the motorcycle down.
Day was taken by ground ambulance to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Day was not wearing safety equipment, and alcohol is believed to have been a factor.
Indian Lake EMS and Top’s Towing assisted at the scene.
