A national traveling memorial honoring Americans who have died since September 11th is in Bellefontaine for the next couple of days.

The Remembering Our Fallen National Traveling Memorial will be on display through Saturday at the Bellefontaine High School Auxiliary Gym at 555 East Lake Avenue.

The memorial includes tribute towers featuring military and personal photographs of nearly 5,000 people who have died since 9/11.

The memorial was unveiled at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., in 2017.

This is its first stop in Bellefontaine.

A motorcycle procession traveled from the Cobblestone Hotel to the Bellefontaine High School Auxiliary Gym Thursday morning.

The memorial will be open Thursday from noon until 7 p.m., and then open Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
