A unique community event aimed at fighting hunger is returning to downtown Bellefontaine.

For a $20 donation, participants can take part in the annual Soup Crawl, a fundraiser that benefits Second Harvest Food Bank CCL.

The event supports the organization’s work to fight food insecurity and will take place on Monday, April 13, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m., with the kickoff location at The Flying Pepper Cantina.

Second Harvest Food Banks Development Specialist, Aliyah Baker, talks more about the event:

Participants will receive a handmade ceramic bowl created by local student artists, pick up their event ticket, and then visit participating locations throughout downtown to sample soups.

Stops on the crawl include Brewfontaine, Six Hundred Downtown, 2G’s Barbecue, Sweet Aromas, and The Maxwell.

Organizers say the Soup Crawl is a fun way for the community to come together, enjoy local food, and support a cause that helps provide meals to those in need.
