A young teenage driver crashed a truck into a storefront on the 100 block of North Main Street in Bellefontaine Thursday morning, prompting a multi-department response to ensure the scene was safe and no one was injured.

The crash occurred around 11:10 a.m. at Modern Beauty Aesthetics and Wellness, where the driver reportedly experienced brake failure, though that has not been confirmed by authorities.

Wren’s Towing handled the removal of the truck from the storefront.

Officials say the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and they continue to review the circumstances surrounding the reported brake issue.
