Around 1 a.m. on Saturday, the Logan County Unified Drug Task Force carried out a narcotics search warrant at a home on Williams Drive in Lakeview.

During the raid, officers recovered a significant amount of methamphetamine along with other evidence tied to drug trafficking.

47-year-old Franklin Hurley was arrested on charges of trafficking meth, while Vicki Cooper, 55, was taken into custody for violating probation.

The investigation is still ongoing, and authorities say more charges could be filed.

Task force officials credit the success of the operation to strong teamwork across multiple local law enforcement agencies, which helped stop these drugs from making their way into the community.

The Logan County Unified Drug Task Force includes members from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Russell’s Point Police Department, Washington Township Police, West Liberty Police, and the Logan County Adult Parole Authority.
