Logan County voters planning to participate in the May 5th Primary Election are reminded that the deadline to register to vote or update their registration is Monday, April 6.
This includes anyone who has moved since last voting and has not yet updated their address with the Board of Elections.
The Logan County Board of Elections, located at 225 S. Main Street, Bellefontaine, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
On the registration deadline, April 6, the office will remain open until 9:00 p.m. to accommodate voters.
Residents can also register online at www.myohiovote.com.
In addition, several authorized agencies accept voter registrations during regular business hours, including the Knowlton District Library and Logan County District Libraries, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Department of Job and Family Services, Logan County Women, Infants, & Children Clinic, Logan & Champaign Counties Mental Health, Drug, and Alcohol Services, Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Logan County Treasurer, and the Ohio Secretary of State.
To be eligible to vote, residents must:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days prior to the election
- Register to vote at least 30 days before the election
- Be at least 18 years old on or before November 3, 2026
Logan County officials encourage all eligible voters to ensure their registration is up to date ahead of the deadline to avoid any issues at the polls.
