Area boys basketball teams were in action Tuesday night with several strong performances, including a road CBC win for Bellefontaine, a tight finish for Indian Lake, and a dominant victory by West Liberty-Salem.
Bellefontaine 59, London 48
Bellefontaine earned a tough road win in CBC play Tuesday night, defeating London 59–48.
The victory improves the Chieftains to 8–8 on the season.

Stolly’s performance marks his second straight double-double after notching 15 points and 10 rebounds against Sidney on Saturday.
Bellefontaine pulled away late to secure the conference win.
Junior Varsity – Bellefontaine 60, London 41
Tyler Rossey poured in a game-high 20 points. AJ Conaway added 19, and Spencer Stolly finished with 10.
Freshmen – London 59, Bellefontaine 39
Tyrin Johnson led the Chiefs with 14 points, while Matthew Dearwester added 10.
The Chieftains return to action Friday night with a road trip to Urbana for another CBC matchup against the Hillclimbers.
Indian Lake 49, North Union 46
Indian Lake picked up a hard-fought three-point win over North Union on Tuesday night, edging the Wildcats 49–46.
Brodey Reisinger and Tyler Tidwell each led the Lakers with 14 points, while Avery Pequignot added 13 in the victory.

Junior Varsity – North Union 40, Indian Lake 36
Reed Strayer led Indian Lake with 11 points.
West Liberty-Salem 67, Greeneview 48
West Liberty-Salem continued its strong season Tuesday night with a 67–48 road victory over Greeneview. The Tigers improve to 11–3 overall and 9–2 in the OHC.
Brandel Sullivan led all scorers with 19 points. Brevin Louden and Troy Christison each added 11, while Sutton Wilcoxon finished with nine. Carson Poppe chipped in eight, Beckett Sullivan had six, and Sam Strapp scored three.
Junior Varsity A – West Liberty-Salem 50, Greeneview 26
Connor Leichty led the Tigers with 10 points. Casey Boyer added nine, while Liam Barger, Josiah Johnson, Tucker Searles, and Colton Neeld each scored five. Asher Cole and Reghan McCullough finished with four apiece, and Austin Markin added three.
West Liberty-Salem returns home Friday, January 24, to host Northeastern.
Northwestern 53, Benjamin Logan 42
The Benjamin Logan Raiders traveled to Northwestern on Tuesday night and came up short in a 53–42 loss. The team battled defensively throughout the game but struggled to find consistency from the field.
Maddox Vermillion led the Raiders with 11 points and four rebounds. Carter Fay added nine points and two steals, while Roman Maxwell finished with eight points and six rebounds.
Clayton Jenkins scored six points and grabbed two rebounds. Cayden Brown added three points, three rebounds, and a steal, while Diesel Baughman contributed two points, two rebounds, and a steal.
Junior Varsity – Benjamin Logan 55, Northwestern 16
Adam Tinsman and Caden Powell each scored nine points to lead the Raiders in the lopsided win.
Junior Varsity B – Northwestern 57, Benjamin Logan 54 (OT)
The Raiders dropped a tough overtime decision despite a strong scoring effort from Micah Gregg, who poured in 16 points. Carrick Spriggs added 14, and Gabe Predmore finished with 11.
