Bellefontaine Chiefs 13U Baseball won the Bronze division of the Columbus Classic from Berliner Sport Park over the weekend in a come-from-behind walk-off fashion.
After losing both games in pool play, Bellefontaine had to win 3 in a row on Sunday to secure the championship.
They defeated Licking County and the Olentangy Baseball Club to then face the Jackson Storm for the championship.
Jackson jumped out to a 6-1 lead thanks to some Bellefontaine errors.
Bellefontaine pulled to within 3 when Hudson Banta singled in Sennett Stolly and Ean Fultz.
In the bottom of the seventh, Sammy Strayer tied the game with a two-run double to score Fultz and Banta.
Keaton Dinovo followed that with a walk-off game-winning base hit to score Strayer.
Coach Justin Dinovo is happy with his boys:
Karter Keller started the game on the mound and combined with Stolly to give up 2 earned runs for the game, striking out 4.
