Bellefontaine High School’s Mia Brown and Rylee Crabtree placed third at the Troy Sectional and have advanced to the district tournament.
Brown and Crabtree fell to Tipp City in the sectional semifinals, losing 4-6, 2-6.
The Bellefontaine duo bounced back in the third-place match, defeating Greenville 7-5, 6-3 to finish third overall.
With their third-place finish, Brown and Crabtree will enter the district tournament as the No. 3 seed.
The district tournament will be held at Mason High School on Thursday, October 8.
