Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake highlight Heart of Ohio girls wrestling tournament

Several area programs competed Saturday at the Heart of Ohio High School Girls Wrestling Invitational in Mechanicsburg, held January 17, 2026. The tournament featured a deep field of teams and provided local wrestlers the opportunity to gain valuable mat time while earning podium finishes across multiple weight classes.

BENJAMIN LOGAN RAIDERS

5th place — 99 points

Benjamin Logan turned in multiple podium finishes, highlighted by a tournament championship at 190 pounds.

  • 100 lbs — Makenley Harker (3-2), 4th place

  • 135 lbs — Bella Hughes (3-1), 2nd place

  • 140 lbs — Addie Anderson (2-2)

  • 170 lbs — Livi Achor (5-1), 3rd place

  • 170 lbs — Madalene Campbell (0-2)

  • 190 lbs — Sophia Harris (3-0), 1st place

INDIAN LAKE LAKERS

6th place — 97.5 points

Indian Lake had several strong showings, placing multiple wrestlers in the top six and earning podium finishes in three weight classes.

19th place — 51.5 points

West Liberty-Salem produced two third-place finishers, both recording multiple pins on the day.

  • 110 lbs — Chloe Griffith, 3rd place
    Went 4-1 with two pins and one tech fall

URBANA HILLCLIMBERS

28th place — 28.5 points

Urbana earned a tournament title as Libertie Nigh went undefeated at 105 pounds.

T-29th place — 27 points
