Several area volleyball teams were in action Saturday, with Benjamin Logan earning a varsity sweep over Riverside, while Bellefontaine and Riverside’s middle school teams also competed.
Benjamin Logan 3, Riverside 0 — Varsity
Benjamin Logan traveled to Riverside Saturday for a special Volley for the Cure match and came away with a straight-set victory, 25-10, 25-5 and 25-19.

Georgia Daniels led the Raiders offensively with 12 kills, while Abby Vance added 10.
Summer Cline finished with five kills, while Avah Miller and Storm LeVan each had four. Nevaeh Fogle added one kill.
Autumn Cline directed the Benjamin Logan offense with 31 assists.
Brielle Kline led the passing effort with a 2.37 rating, while Lydia Johnson recorded a 2.66 rating.
For Riverside, Kara Klingler had eight assists, while Emilee Robinson led the defense with nine digs.
Makayla Hurley and Eva Dodds each added four kills.
Benjamin Logan returns home Tuesday to take on Indian Lake for Senior Night. The game will be broadcast on Peak of Ohio TV.

The Riverside JV Pirates fell to Benjamin Logan in three sets, 25-20, 21-25 and 23-25.
Ellie Zwiebel had 21 assists, while Karly Gillman led the defense with 19 digs. Kenzie Stotler added 10 digs.
Rolissa Foreman led Riverside with nine kills, while Addison Shoe and Madison Schindewolf each had five.

Benjamin Logan’s seventh-grade team defeated Indian Lake in two sets, 25-20 and 25-19.

The Benjamin Logan eighth-grade team defeated Indian Lake in three sets, 15-25, 25-14 and 25-15.
Covington 2, Riverside 0 — 7th Grade
Riverside’s seventh-grade team fell to Covington, 29-27 and 25-16.
Brayla Olinger led Riverside with 11 points and six aces.
Bella Castallante added six points and two aces, while Kylie Godshall had three points and two aces.
Addyson Manning finished with one point and one ace, while Brielle Carpenter and Scarlett Lentz each added one point.
Covington 2, Riverside 0 — 8th Grade
Riverside’s eighth-grade team fell to Covington, 25-12 and 25-16.
Bella Shultz led the Pirates with seven points and two aces.
Bella Beaty added three points, while Brylee Shephard had three points, two aces, one tip and one kill.
Riverside’s eighth-grade team returns to action Monday at home in Truster Gymnasium.
Bethel 3, Bellefontaine 1 — Varsity
Bellefontaine battled Bethel through four sets Saturday afternoon before falling, 25-13, 25-21, 17-25 and 25-15.
Ava Layman led the Chiefs with 10 kills, eight digs, two blocks and a perfect 10-for-10 serving effort. She also went 14-for-15 on serve receive.
Lexey Brown added five kills, four digs and two blocks, while Presley Vigansky finished with 29 assists, 10 digs, three blocks and one kill.
Arianna Rangel had eight digs and three kills, while Jazmin Nelson added two kills and four digs.
Alayna Boyd finished with seven digs and three kills, while Jillian Ullom led the defense with 15 digs and three aces.
The varsity Chiefs travel to Tecumseh Tuesday for a conference matchup.
Bethel 2, Bellefontaine 1 — JV
The JV Chiefs opened strong but ultimately fell to Bethel in three sets, 25-16, 20-25 and 19-25.
Rosie Lightle led Bellefontaine with a career-high 21 assists, three kills, three digs and a block.
Ellie Bosiljevac recorded career highs with 10 kills, while Rylyn Hoskins-Rose had a career-high seven kills.
Ellie Irick added a career-high five kills, while Gianna Davis posted career highs with 14 digs and six kills.
Brookelyn Oaks had 10 digs, while Alexis Hogan recorded a career-high 10 assists and seven digs.
The JV Chiefs also travel to Tecumseh Tuesday, with first serve scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
Jonathan Alder 2, Bellefontaine 1 — 7th Grade
Bellefontaine’s seventh-grade Chiefs fell to Jonathan Alder in three hard-fought sets, 25-21, 19-25 and 20-25.
Bexley Daring led the Chiefs with 22 digs and three aces.
Emma Layman added 11 digs, five kills, six assists and four aces, while Devyn Hogan had 10 digs, four kills and three blocks.
Addy Harden finished with two kills and three aces, while Lariah Valencia added eight digs.
Jonathan Alder 2, Bellefontaine 0 — 8th Grade
The eighth-grade Chiefs fell to Jonathan Alder, 25-13 and 25-15.
Skylar Phan had seven digs and an ace, while Alivia Rogan added three kills and an ace.
Arianna Rumer finished with four digs, three assists and four aces.
Braelynn Neer had two digs and two kills, while Evie Schmidt recorded six digs and an assist.
The Chiefs will host London Monday.
