The Division II and Division III boys golf sectional tournaments were held Wednesday, with Indian Lake, West Liberty-Salem, Urbana, Graham, Benjamin Logan and Mechanicsburg competing.
Indian Lake’s Jaxon Snipes qualified individually for districts, while the Mechanicsburg Indians advanced as a team.
Central Division III Sectional — Oakhaven
Mechanicsburg — 2nd (343)
The Mechanicsburg Indians finished second as a team with a score of 343, qualifying for the district tournament.
Mason Bandy led Mechanicsburg with a 79, shooting 39 on the front nine and 40 on the back to finish second individually.
Ryder Buxton followed with an 83 after rounds of 41 and 42 to finish fourth.
MJ Blose carded an 89, shooting 43-46 to place seventh.
Maxwell Popovich finished with a 92 after rounds of 47 and 45 to tie for ninth.
Elliott Moore rounded out the lineup with a 98, shooting 45 on the front nine and 53 on the back to finish 22nd.
With their second-place finish, the Indians qualified as a team for the district tournament.
Southwest Division II Sectional — National Golf Links
Indian Lake — 6th (347)
The Indian Lake Lakers finished sixth as a team with a score of 347.
Jaxon Snipes led the Lakers with a 79, shooting 38 on the front nine and 41 on the back to finish fourth individually. Snipes qualified for the district tournament as an individual.
Grant Wickline followed with an 86 after shooting 43 on each nine to tie for 22nd.
Mason Berg carded an 89 with rounds of 45 and 44 to tie for 32nd.
Crew McPherson finished with a 93 after shooting 47-46 to place 41st.
Jesse Carder rounded out the Indian Lake lineup with a 106, shooting 51 on the front nine and 55 on the back to tie for 60th.
West Liberty-Salem — 9th (359)
The West Liberty-Salem Tigers finished ninth with a team score of 359.
Braydon Thompson led the Tigers with an 84, shooting 41 on the front nine and 43 on the back to tie for 16th.
Amy Fairchild carded an 86 after rounds of 41 and 45 to tie for 22nd.
Braxton Catron finished with an 89, shooting 43-46 to tie for 32nd.
Carter Henderson shot a 100 with rounds of 51 and 49 to finish tied for 52nd.
Eli Jackson rounded out the Tigers with a 103, shooting 52 on the front nine and 51 on the back to tie for 54th.
Urbana — 12th (395)
The Urbana Hillclimbers finished 12th as a team with a score of 395.
Nolan Smith led Urbana with a 91, shooting 42 on the front nine and 49 on the back to tie for 38th.
Brant Markin followed with a 95 after rounds of 46 and 49 to tie for 45th.
Kelton McClain finished with a 104, shooting 54-50 to place 56th.
Lane Varney carded a 105 after rounds of 47 and 58 to tie for 57th.
Jackson Stacy finished with a 108, shooting 58 on the front nine and 50 on the back to place 63rd.
Graham — 13th (409)
The Graham Falcons finished 13th with a team score of 409.
Jonas Mannier led the Falcons with a 94, shooting 44 on the front nine and 50 on the back to finish 42nd.
Mason Law carded a 99 after rounds of 42 and 57 to finish 51st.
Daniel Bonham finished with a 106, shooting 44-62 to tie for 60th.
Layne Barger shot a 110 after rounds of 56 and 54 to finish 64th.
Jack Thomas rounded out the lineup with a 125, shooting 67 on the front nine and 58 on the back to tie for 68th.
Benjamin Logan — 14th (448)
The Benjamin Logan Raiders finished 14th as a team with a score of 448.
Aj Bergman led the Raiders with a 103, shooting 51 on the front nine and 52 on the back to tie for 54th.
Ashe Moorhouse finished with a 114 after rounds of 60 and 54 to place 65th.
Keegan Lacher carded a 115, shooting 55-60 to finish 66th.
Drake Newland shot a 116 after rounds of 55 and 61 to finish 67th.
Joel Johnson rounded out the Raiders with a 125, shooting 67 on the front nine and 58 on the back to finish 68th.
