Dixon, Astorino, Reisinger lead All-District basketball selections

Several area basketball players have earned postseason recognition from the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) after standout performances during the 2025–26 season.

Athletes from schools across the region were named to the All-Southwest District and All-Central District teams, honoring the top performers in each division based on their impact throughout the season.

Local schools represented on this year’s lists include Indian Lake, Urbana, Graham, West Liberty-Salem, Bellefontaine, Riverside, and Mechanicsburg, with multiple players earning first-team, second-team, third-team, and honorable mention honors across several divisions.

Among the highlights, Urbana’s Alex Dixon was named a First Team All-Southwest District selection in Division IV after averaging nearly 22 points per game while also contributing across the stat sheet. West Liberty-Salem’s Ava Astorino also secured a First Team selection in Division VI, highlighted by strong scoring and playmaking along with impressive three-point shooting. Indian Lake’s Brodey Reisinger earned First Team honors in Division V, leading the Lakers with a double-double average of 17 points and more than 11 rebounds per game.

Several other local athletes were recognized across the district teams, reflecting the depth of basketball talent throughout the region this season.
