Indian Lake 3, Bellefontaine 0
The Indian Lake Lady Lakers traveled to Bellefontaine Thursday night for a CBC crossover match and came away with a straight-set victory over the Lady Chieftains, 25-14, 25-16 and 25-19.
For Indian Lake, Cami Bailey led the Lakers with 11 kills, nine digs, one block and one ace. Courtney Altstaetter added nine kills and two digs, while Mackenzie Miller finished with nine kills, six digs and two aces.
Alivia Kinney contributed six kills, three blocks, two digs and one ace for the Lakers. Madison Davis added four kills, three blocks, four digs and one ace.
Kyler Carruthers recorded 10 digs and one ace, while Addyson Roby led the Indian Lake offense with 37 assists. Roby also added one kill and six digs.
For Bellefontaine, Presley Vigansky led the Chieftains with 25 assists. She went 11-for-12 serving with two aces and added four digs, one kill and one block.
Ava Layman led Bellefontaine with 10 kills. She was 10-for-10 serving, recorded 11 digs and went 20-for-21 on serve receive.
Alayna Boyd added seven kills and five digs while going 25-for-26 on serve receive. Arianna Rangel finished with six kills and one block and went 2-for-2 on serve receive.
Lexey Brown had five kills, went 5-for-5 serving and added a block. Jazmin Nelson recorded one kill.
Jillian Ullom had 10 digs, went 8-for-8 serving and 12-for-14 on serve receive, while adding an assist.
Celine Blinn recorded four digs, went 7-for-8 serving and had an ace. Rosie Lightle was 3-for-3 serving with an ace.
Bellefontaine falls to 5-8 on the season and will travel to Triad Saturday for a non-conference matchup.
JV — Indian Lake 2, Bellefontaine 0
The Indian Lake JV Lakers also picked up a straight-set victory over Bellefontaine, winning 25-10 and 25-10.
For Indian Lake, Claire Tidwell led the Lakers with 11 kills, while Taylor Duff and Audra Harford each added three kills.
Ayla Brentlinger finished with 11 digs for the Lakers, while Makayle Clary had eight digs.
Layna Nessler recorded eight assists and four digs, while Lux Kipker finished with 10 assists, five digs and two aces.
For Bellefontaine, Gianna Davis led the JV Lady Chiefs with four kills, two assists and five digs. She went 5-for-5 on serve receive and 3-for-3 serving.
Ellie Bosiljevac added two kills and seven digs, going 7-for-7 on serve receive and 4-for-5 serving.
Rylyn Hoskins-Rose finished with two kills and six digs and went 3-for-3 serving.
Rosie Lightle had four assists, seven digs and one kill.
Brookelyn Oaks recorded six digs, two assists and one kill while going 7-for-9 on serve receive.
Alejandra Meregote added three digs. Alexis Hogan had two assists and two digs while going 1-for-1 on serve receive.
Lexi McKirahan recorded three digs and an ace while going 3-for-4 on serve receive. Diana Martinez added two digs.
The JV Lady Chiefs fall to 4-9 on the season and will travel to Triad Saturday to take on the Cardinals. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
Jonathan Alder 3, Benjamin Logan 0
The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders traveled to Jonathan Alder Thursday night for a CBC crossover matchup between two undefeated teams.
The Raiders battled throughout the match, but Jonathan Alder came away with a three-set victory, 25-22, 25-23 and 25-14.
Abby Vance and Summer Cline led the Raiders with 10 kills apiece. Georgia Daniels added nine kills.
Autumn Cline directed the offense with 27 assists, while Brielle Kline recorded a 2.22 passing rating.
Benjamin Logan will look to bounce back Monday when the Raiders travel to Bethel.
Lehman 3, Riverside 0
Riverside hosted Lehman Thursday night, with the Pirates falling in three sets, 25-14, 25-14 and 25-14.
Kara Klingler led Riverside with nine assists.
Makayla Hurley, Valerie Knight and Eva Dodds each finished with three kills. Knight also added four blocks.
Emilee Robinson led the defensive effort with 21 digs.
JV — Lehman 2, Riverside 0
The Riverside JV team also fell in straight sets, 25-19 and 25-17.
Ellie Zwiebel recorded seven assists, while Izzy Hudson added three kills.
Bella Robinson led the Pirates with nine digs, followed by Kenzie Stotler with eight digs.
Addison Shoe finished with three aces.
Riverside 8th Grade 2, Milton Union 1
Riverside’s middle school teams traveled to Milton Union for a conference matchup Thursday.
Milton Union had to forfeit the seventh-grade match because it did not have enough players.
The Riverside eighth-grade team played an exciting three-set match and came away with a 2-1 victory, winning 25-17, 19-25 and 28-26.
Bella Shultz led Riverside with 10 points, six aces, a tip and a kill.
Brylee Shephard also scored 10 points and added three aces and a tip.
Kinsley Crawford finished with five points, four aces, a tip and two kills, while Paloma Quixan added five points and four aces.
Avery Wheeler recorded three points and two aces, while Ruth Morrison added three points and two aces. Stella Shultz contributed two points.
Riverside will return to the court Saturday when the Pirates host Bethel at Truster Gymnasium.
