Longtime Bellefontaine High School girls bowling coach Jane Kline has been selected as a member of the inaugural class of the Ohio High School Bowling Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Kline will be formally inducted during the Hall of Fame Banquet on Sunday, Aug. 30, at Worthington Hills Country Club.
The honor recognizes Kline’s decades of dedication to Bellefontaine’s girls bowling program and her impact on the sport throughout the community.
School officials praised Kline for helping develop not only successful teams and accomplished student-athletes but also young women who have benefited from her leadership and mentorship.
In addition to her success at the high school level, Kline has spent countless hours growing youth bowling in Bellefontaine, helping introduce new generations of bowlers to the sport and ensuring its continued success in the area.
Throughout her coaching career, Kline has been known for representing Bellefontaine with integrity, sportsmanship and excellence. Her influence has extended well beyond victories and championships through the relationships she has built with her athletes and the positive impact she has made on their lives.
Bellefontaine officials called Kline’s induction a well-deserved honor and a fitting recognition of an extraordinary coaching career, adding they are proud to celebrate her achievements and grateful for everything she has contributed to the school’s students, bowling program and the Bellefontaine community.
Kline will be among those recognized as part of the Ohio High School Bowling Coaches Association’s first-ever Hall of Fame class during the Aug. 30 induction ceremony.
