Several Logan County ACME baseball teams will begin district tournament action next week, with both junior and senior divisions looking to earn a trip to the state tournament.
Junior ACME District Tournament
The four-team Junior ACME District Tournament opens Tuesday, June 30.
Bellefontaine will host Indian Lake at 6 p.m., while Van Buren travels to Liberty-Benton for another 6 p.m. semifinal.
The winners will advance to the district championship game on Wednesday, July 1, at 6 p.m. in Wapakoneta.
Senior ACME District Tournament
The seven-team Senior ACME District Tournament will be played in a double-elimination format.
Indian Lake received a first-round bye and will face the winner of Covington and Graham on Wednesday, July 1, at 6 p.m. in Covington.
Bellefontaine opens tournament play at home against Fairbanks on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Benjamin Logan will also be at home Wednesday, hosting Triad at 6 p.m.
The Senior ACME District Championship Series is scheduled to begin Friday, July 10, at 6 p.m. in Bellefontaine. If necessary, a winner-take-all final game will be played Saturday, July 11, at 6 p.m., also in Bellefontaine.
The district champions will advance to the ACME State Tournament.
