Local athletes prove fleet of feet at State Track and Field meet

Local athletes from throughout the region competed on Saturday in Day 2 of the State Track and Field competition at Jesse Owens Stadium in Columbus. Here are the final results:

Benjamin Logan

  • Abby Vance, 7th place, Long Jump (16′ 9.75″)

West Liberty-Salem

  • Chloe Griffith, 2nd Place, 100M dash (12.15 seconds)
  • 4×100 girls relay team of Tori Douthwaite, Hattie Jacobs, Ella Albers, and Chloe Griffith, 6th place (50.32 seconds)
  • Jackson Steider, 3rd place, 300M Hurdles (38.53 seconds); 4th place, 110M Hurdles (14.26 seconds)
  • 4×100 boys relay team of Lincoln Henderson, Jack Bahan, Jackson Steider, Sam Kidd, 4th place (42.34 seconds)
  • Elise Longshore, 12th place, pole vault (10’6″)

Bellefontaine
