The Ohio Heritage Conference held its girls’ golf championship Tuesday at Elks Lodge Golf Course in Springfield, with Mechanicsburg finishing second and West Liberty-Salem placing third.
Fairbanks claimed the conference championship with a team score of 373.
OHC Conference Tournament
Mechanicsburg — 2nd (423)
Mechanicsburg finished runner-up with a team score of 423.
Blake Rausch led the Indians with an 87, placing third individually. Reagan Kile and Arielle Hysell each shot 110 to tie for 16th.
Emma Moore carded a 116 for 27th, while Karen Baldwin finished with a 117 for 29th. Clara Forrest added a 130.
West Liberty-Salem — 3rd (451)
The West Liberty-Salem Lady Tigers placed third with a team score of 451.
Grace Jones paced the Tigers with a 108, finishing 13th overall. Emma Cole followed with a 111 for 18th, while Ava Martin shot 115 for 25th.
Kate Bolton rounded out the team scoring with a 117, placing 29th. Britton Carter finished with a 126 and Hayden Knotts carded a 134.
The Tigers also completed a conference match against Greeneview, turning in their best nine-hole team performance of the season in a 207-226 victory.
Cole led the way with a personal-best 49, followed by Jones with a 51. Bolton and Martin also posted personal-best rounds of 52 and 55, respectively, while Carter recorded a career-best 58.
West Liberty-Salem returns to action Thursday at Dayton Carroll.
Triad
Triad competed individually at the OHC championship.
Amira Gonzales led the Cardinals with a 145, finishing 44th overall. Melissa Graham shot 149 for 46th, while Adyson Feasel finished 50th with a 156.
Northwestern 188, Indian Lake 209
The Indian Lake Lady Lakers fell to Northwestern 188-209 Tuesday at Prairie View Golf Course.
Adriana Andrus led Indian Lake with a 49, while Lily Michael and Chloe Borgerding each carded a 51.
Northwestern’s Cadence Monroe-McCoy earned match medalist honors with a 35.
Indian Lake returns to Prairie View Wednesday against Graham, with a 5:15 p.m. tee time. The match will also serve as Senior Night.
North Union 194, Benjamin Logan 203
Benjamin Logan posted its second-best team score of the season, but fell to North Union 194-203 Tuesday at Marion Country Club.
Kaylynn Crumm led the Raiders with a 44. Leah Braddock and Catherine Bramlage each shot 52, while Sophia “River” VanVoorhis finished with a 55.
Annika Schmidt carded a 58, followed by Montana Coleman with a 62, Kaydence Hamlin with a 69, Alayna Johnson with a 71, Laurel Smith with a 74 and Elizabeth Bramlage with a 77.
Benjamin Logan will return to action Tuesday at the CBC league championship.
