The Ohio Heritage Conference held its boys’ golf championship Thursday, with Mechanicsburg winning the team title, West Liberty-Salem finishing fifth and Triad placing 10th.
OHC Conference Tournament
Mechanicsburg — 1st (337)
The Mechanicsburg Indians won the conference championship with a team score of 337.
Ryder Buxton led the Indians with an 82, finishing fifth individually. Mason Bandy and Maxwell Popovich each shot 84 to tie for eighth.
Elliott Moore carded an 87 for 11th, while M.J. Blose finished 17th with an 89. Bodee DeLong added a 98.
West Liberty-Salem — 5th (383)
The West Liberty-Salem Tigers finished fifth with a team score of 383.
Braydon Thompson led the Tigers with a 93, finishing 21st individually.
Calen Fairchild and Braxton Catron each shot 96 to tie for 28th. Eli Jackson carded a 98 for 31st.
Logan Behlmer finished with a 103, placing 45th, while Carter Henderson shot a 117.
Triad — 10th (406)
The Triad Cardinals placed 10th with a team score of 406.
Senior Cohen Millice turned in a 75 to win the individual OHC championship and earn match medalist honors.
Colton Mullin shot a 100 to finish 39th, while Carson Jackson carded a 105 for 49th.
Hayden Sheppeard finished with a 126, and A.J. Trommer recorded a 173.
