The 2026 OHSAA boys’ high school basketball tournaments are set, and several area teams are preparing to begin postseason play across multiple divisions and district brackets. Local programs will open tournament action next week with district quarterfinal, semifinal, and first-round matchups as the road to a district championship gets underway.
Here’s a breakdown of tournament games for local teams:
Division III – Southwest 3
District Quarterfinal:
No. 9 Bellefontaine vs No. 6 Stebbins
Thu. Feb. 26 – 7:30 PM @ Centerville HS
Bellefontaine enters tournament play as the No. 9 seed and will take on sixth-seeded Stebbins in a competitive district quarterfinal matchup. The Chieftains will look to advance with a strong performance on a neutral floor.
Division IV – Southwest 1
First Round:
No. 13 Benjamin Logan vs No. 10 Northwestern
Mon. Feb. 23 – 6:00 PM @ Sidney HS
Benjamin Logan opens postseason play as the No. 13 seed against No. 10 Northwestern. The Raiders will aim to pull off a first-round victory to move deeper into district action.
Division IV – Southwest 2
District Quarterfinal:
No. 4 Urbana vs No. 6 Valley View
Sat. Feb. 28 – 11:00 AM @ Xenia HS
Urbana earned the No. 4 seed and will face Valley View in a district quarterfinal matchup. The Hillclimbers look to capitalize on their favorable seeding as they begin tournament play.
Division V – Southwest 2
District Quarterfinal:
No. 2 Indian Lake vs No. 12 Milton-Union
Thu. Feb. 26 – 6:00 PM @ Bethel HS
Indian Lake enters the tournament as a No. 2 seed and will square off with Milton-Union. The Lakers will look to defend their high seed and advance in district competition.
Division V – Southwest 3
District Quarterfinal:
No. 4 West Liberty-Salem vs No. 9 Carlisle
Fri. Feb. 27 – 6:00 PM @ Bethel HS
West Liberty-Salem opens tournament action as the No. 4 seed against Carlisle. The Tigers will aim to build momentum as they begin postseason play.
Division V – Southwest 4
District Semifinal:
No. 15 Graham vs Winner of No. 1 Waynesville / No. 13 Stivers School for the Arts
Mon. Mar. 2 – 7:00 PM @ Northmont HS
Graham advances directly to the district semifinal round and will face the winner of Waynesville and Stivers School for the Arts. The Falcons will prepare for a challenging matchup against either opponent.
Division VI – Central 1
First Round:
No. 5 Mechanicsburg vs No. 10 Cardington-Lincoln
Tue. Feb. 24 – 7:00 PM @ Mechanicsburg HS
Mechanicsburg opens tournament play at home as the No. 5 seed, hosting Cardington-Lincoln in a first-round contest. The Indians will look to defend their home floor and move on in the bracket.
Division VI – Southwest 1
District Quarterfinal:
No. 7 Riverside vs No. 6 Twin Valley South
Mon. Feb. 23 – 6:00 PM @ Troy HS
Riverside enters as the No. 7 seed and faces sixth-seeded Twin Valley South in what shapes up as a closely matched quarterfinal. The Pirates will look to keep their season alive with a strong showing.
Division VI – Southwest 2
District Quarterfinal:
No. 12 Triad vs No. 2 Troy Christian
Fri. Feb. 27 – 7:30 PM @ Troy HS
Triad earned the No. 12 seed and will take on second-seeded Troy Christian. The Cardinals will look to rise to the challenge in a tough district matchup.
Division VII – Southwest 1
District Quarterfinal:
No. 18 Calvary Christian vs No. 1 Cedarville
Fri. Feb. 27 – 6:00 PM @ Piqua HS
Calvary Christian enters as the No. 18 seed and will face top-seeded Cedarville in district quarterfinal action. The Spartans will look to compete hard as they open tournament play.
