Pirate star golfer McDaniel signs with North Greenville

Riverside senior golfer Reaghan McDaniel has officially signed her letter of intent to continue her golf career at North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina.

North Greenville is a Division II institution with approximately 3,000 students and competes in Conference Carolinas. McDaniel will play under head coach Bud Tate and plans to major in Accounting and Finance.

McDaniel said she chose North Greenville after an official visit left a lasting impression.

As she prepares for the next level, McDaniel has set clear goals both on and off the course.

She believes her determination will help her succeed in college golf.

Playing golf at the collegiate level has long been a goal for McDaniel, and she leaves Riverside with one of the most decorated golf careers in school history.

  • 4-time Three River Conference (TRC) Girls’ Golf Athlete of the Year (2022–2025)

  • 4-time TRC Girls’ Golf First-Team Selection (2022–2025)

  • 4-time TRC Girls’ Medalist of the Year (2022–2025)

  • Career high 9th place out of 71 golfers at the 2025 district tournament

  • School record 35 (-1) for 9 holes, set on September 15, 2025

  • School record 76 (+4) for 18 holes, set on August 4, 2025

McDaniel is the daughter of Amy and Jason McDaniel.
