Benjamin Logan 18, Graham 7 (5 innings)

The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders blew things wide open with a massive 13-run third inning, powering past Graham in an 18-7 run-rule victory.

Benjamin Logan wasted no time getting on the board. After a leadoff single from Brielle Kline, the Raiders capitalized on a Falcon outfield error before RBI hits from Adilynne Gregg and Tanna Jacobs made it 3-0 early.

Graham answered right back. Mariah Sizemore and Malynn Bacher opened the bottom of the first with singles, and a clutch two-out knock from Charli Werner plated two to cut the deficit to 3-2.

Then came the turning point.

The Raiders erupted in the third inning, sending runs across in waves. Highlighting the rally was a three-run blast from Jacobs, along with five total hits, three walks, and a string of Falcon miscues. By the time the dust settled, Benjamin Logan had surged ahead 16-2.

They tacked on two more in the fourth on a Jozie Taylor two-RBI triple, stretching the lead to 18-2.

To their credit, the Falcons kept battling. Elena Portis launched a two-run homer, and Abby Chamberlain delivered a two-run double during a five-run fourth inning to make it 18-7. However, Graham couldn’t chip away further, and the run rule held.

Kylie Harner earned the win in the circle, tossing a complete game with five strikeouts.

Jacobs led the offensive charge with a perfect 3-for-3 day and four RBIs, while Gregg, Taylor, Harner, and Naveah Fogle all turned in strong multi-hit performances.

Graham drops to 4-7 and will host Tecumseh on Friday. Benjamin Logan moves to 5-5 and will host Bellefontaine live on PeakofOhioTV Friday night.

North Union 6, Indian Lake 5

Indian Lake came up just short in a back-and-forth battle, as North Union walked it off in the seventh inning for a 6-5 win.

The Lakers got on the board first in the second when Kyler Carruthers launched a solo homer to right, but the Wildcats answered in the bottom half with a pair of RBI singles to take a 2-1 lead. Carruthers struck again in the fourth, blasting her second solo home run—this time to left—to tie the game at two.

After a quiet stretch, Indian Lake regained control in the sixth. Carruthers was intentionally walked and Payton Davis followed with a walk before Ayla Brentlinger delivered in the clutch, ripping a two-out, two-RBI triple to give the Lakers a 4-2 lead. However, Brentlinger was thrown out trying to stretch it into an inside-the-park home run, ending the inning.

North Union responded once again in the bottom of the sixth, using an RBI single and a go-ahead double to take a 5-4 lead.

In the seventh, the Lakers battled back. MacKenzie Miller singled and Izzi Mackesy doubled to put runners in scoring position, and Kylie Haude drove in the tying run to make it 5-5. Carruthers was intentionally walked again to load the bases, but North Union escaped with a play at the plate and a groundout.

In the bottom half, the Wildcats loaded the bases and, after a key defensive stop at home, delivered a walk-off single up the middle to seal the win.

Carruthers led Indian Lake with two home runs and three runs scored, while Brentlinger added a multi-hit game with two RBIs.

The Lakers fall to 4-7 and will host London on Friday.

Jonathan Alder 13, Urbana 3 (6 innings)

Urbana started strong but couldn’t keep pace with a late Jonathan Alder surge, falling 13-3 in a run-rule contest.

The Lady Hillclimbers struck first, as Chloe Easterday set the tone with a leadoff single and aggressive baserunning. Bailee Packer delivered early, driving in runs to give Urbana a 2-0 lead after two innings.

But the Pioneers flipped the script in the middle innings.

After tying the game in the third, Alder took the lead in the fourth before exploding for six runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth to close things out early.

Packer led Urbana with three RBIs, while Easterday and Isla Wooten each collected two hits.

Urbana falls to 7-4 and will hit the road to face North Union on Friday.

Kenton Ridge 15, Bellefontaine 0 (5 innings)

Kenton Ridge showcased its firepower once again, rolling past Bellefontaine 15-0 in five innings.

The Cougars jumped out early with four runs in the first, then broke things wide open with a nine-run second inning fueled by extra-base hits and relentless pressure at the plate.

Bellefontaine had its chances early but couldn’t capitalize, stranding runners in key moments.

Addison Wical led the Chiefs with a multi-hit performance, while four players recorded hits in the loss.

Bellefontaine falls to 3-9 and will travel to Benjamin Logan on Friday in a matchup that will be streamed live on PeakofOhioTV.
