The West Liberty-Salem High School cheer team is heading into the fall with new skills, routines and plenty of recognition after recently attending a two-day UCA Cheer Camp. The Tigers spent the camp learning new cheers, dances, stunts, skills and game-day routines designed to elevate the atmosphere for West Liberty-Salem fans under the Friday night lights.
One of the biggest highlights of the camp was the opportunity for cheerleaders to audition for the prestigious UCA All-American honor. Eleven West Liberty-Salem athletes earned the distinction for 2026, recognizing their performance and abilities during camp.
The 2026 West Liberty-Salem UCA All-Americans are:
- Eliza Halterman
- Ashlee VonDeylen
- Bayleigh Deam
- Peyton Cramer
- Avrianna Good
- Jay Young
- Ellery Wygal
- Kiarah Krabill
- Maelynn Winget
- Olivia Waibel
- Ana Krempasky

Three Tigers received an additional distinction, with Jay Young, Eliza Halterman and Ellery Wygal each earning UCA All-American honors for the second time.
The team will now take the skills and experience gained at camp into the upcoming season, where the cheerleaders will showcase their new routines, stunts and game-day material during West Liberty-Salem athletic events.
The accomplishment adds another highlight to the program’s preparation for the fall and reflects the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of the Tigers’ cheerleaders as they get ready to support their teams and energize fans throughout the season.
