The Harrison Township Zoning Commission, Logan County, OH, will hold a public hearing concerning proposed amendments to the Harrison Township Zoning Resolution on May 14, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Harrison Township Hall. The building address is 4246 State Rte. 47 W, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.

The proposed amendments, initiated by motion of the Zoning Commission, propose to amend Section 101 Use of Land or Buildings for Agricultural Purposes Not affected, Article II Definitions by adding “Adult Use Cannabis related definitions”, “Small Off-Site Battery Energy Storage System”, “Data Center”, “Fence or Wall”, and amending “Agritourism related definitions”, Medical Marijuana related definitions”, “Public Service Facility”, and “Transient Lodgings”. It also amends the timelines and public notice requirements in Article V Administration, the zoning amendment process specified in Article VI Amendment, Section 900 Compliance with Regulations, Section 1013 Fences, Walls, and Hedges, Section 1041 Agritourism, Section 1039 General Conditions for Medical Marijuana Entities, and adds Section 1061 General Conditions for Adult Use Cannabis Operators.

The text and map(s) of the proposed amendment will be available for examination at the Logan County Library between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday for a period of 10 days prior to the public hearing. The building address is 220 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, OH 43311.

After the conclusion of such hearing, the matter will be submitted to the Harrison Township Board of Trustees for its action.
