Dear Individuals, Families, and Community Partners,
As many of you know, the Champaign County Board of Developmental Disabilities’ levy request was not approved by voters. We recognize that this outcome may create feelings of uncertainty and concern among the individuals we serve, their families, staff, and community partners.
While we are disappointed by the outcome, our commitment to supporting people with developmental disabilities throughout Champaign County remains unwavering.

We understand the importance these supports play in the lives of individuals and families, and we will approach these decisions thoughtfully, keeping the needs of those we serve at the forefront.
As we navigate this process, we are committed to communicating openly and keeping our stakeholders informed of any changes that may affect services or programs.
Our mission remains the same: to promote independence and a pathway to success, and to provide quality supports that improve the lives of people with developmental disabilities in our community.
Thank you for your continued trust, support, and partnership as we move forward together.
Sincerely,
