American Honda Motor Co. announced Tuesday that its U.S. sales reached 102,824 units in November, keeping year-to-date sales up 1.8% despite ongoing production challenges caused by the semiconductor supply shortage.
Both the Honda and Acura brands continue to see strong demand for new vehicles, with electrified models achieving record-breaking results.
The Honda brand sold 91,582 vehicles in November, driven by light trucks and hybrid models.
November marked the 10th consecutive month of Honda light truck sales exceeding 60,000 units.
- The all-new Passport achieved a record November with 4,363 units sold, up 73% year-to-date.
- The CR-V led all Honda models with 29,421 units, including hybrids, making up over 54% of the total.
- The HR-V sold 10,821 units and the Pilot 9,234, while the Ridgeline and Odyssey also posted year-to-date gains.
Passenger cars totaled nearly 28,000 units, led by the Civic (17,353 units) and Accord (10,613 units), with hybrids making up nearly half of the sales mix.
The Civic hybrid set a new November record with 6,426 units sold.
Electrified vehicle sales reached 28,258 units, representing 30.9% of Honda’s total sales, establishing a new annual record with year-to-date sales of 385,453 units.
Acura sold 11,242 units in November, pushing year-to-date sales to over 121,000 units, up 1.9%.
The brand’s “gateway duo,” the Integra and ADX, achieved a combined best-ever 4,781 units, with the ADX alone setting a monthly record of 2,837 units.
Since its spring launch, the ADX has captured a segment-leading 30% share.
Acura SUV sales totaled 8,659 units, up 6.5% year-to-date, with the MDX and RDX combining for 5,800 units—their best month since May.
Sedan sales reached 2,500 units, with the Integra posting 1,944 units, its best month since April and maintaining a 37% segment share.
Despite supply chain pressures, American Honda continues to show resilience, led by strong light truck and hybrid sales.
Year-to-date, trucks remain the top-performing segment for both brands, while electrified vehicles are setting new records, signaling growing consumer interest in Honda and Acura’s greener lineup.
