UPDATE: According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Robert Beatty, 74, of Bellefontaine, was stopped at the intersection of County Road 57 when he pulled his 2020 Ford F-150 into the path of a 2020 Toyota Rav4 operated by Sally Haydon-Wilkes, 63, of Lakeview, who was traveling on US 33.
Haydon-Wikes was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital for possible injuries.
Beatty was not injured in the accident and was cited for failure to yield.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.

A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of County Road 57 and US 33 caused traffic delays Tuesday morning around 8:30 AM.
Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with Huntsville EMS and Fire, quickly responded to the scene.
According to deputies, a woman was taken by Huntsville EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for possible leg injuries.
Authorities have not yet released specific information regarding the cause of the crash.
