According to the Washington Township Police Department, investigators have identified the man as 48-year-old Alton Joshua Stotler, of Lakeview.
Stotler succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Additional assistance was provided by the Village of Lakeview Electric Department, the Logan County Coroner’s Office, and Tops Towing.

A man passed away Thursday morning in an accident while working to repair a building in Lakeview.
Emergency crews responded to the 300 block of Brown Street shortly after 9:00 AM.
According to preliminary reports, the man was working on the building when a boom lift came into contact with a live electrical wire.
The strike also sparked a small fire, which crews quickly contained.
Officials have not yet released the man’s identity pending notification of his family.
