A 25-year-old West Mansfield man was arrested for OVI after deputies say he crashed into a home Monday night.
The crash happened around 9:10 p.m. in the 10000 block of County Road 26.
Deputies say Brandon Moore was driving a 2016 Acura westbound on County Road 26 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and hit a house.
The Acura came to rest against the residence, causing severe damage.
Moore was the only person in the vehicle.
The report says he appeared unsteady, had watery eyes, and slurred speech.
Moore initially told deputies he had consumed one beer, then later said he had two beers.
He was arrested for OVI and taken to the Logan County Jail, where he declined to provide a breath sample.
Moore was also issued a citation for failure to control.
His driver’s license was seized, and he was placed under suspension.
