American Honda Continues Hot Streak with Strong 2nd Quarter Sales Results

American Honda overcame industrywide logistics issues to post a 4th straight sales month with over 110,000 units sold.

Honda brand sales increased by over 40% in the 2nd quarter (347,025) and 54% in June (98,327), with turn rates of over 70%.

Sales of Honda electrified models set an all-time annual record (137,437) in just six months with CR-V and Accord hybrid-electric models combining for another new monthly record (26,522) in June.

The all-new CR-V reached 30,000 units for 4th straight month; the all-new Pilot hit 10,000 units for 2nd straight month, while the HR-V continues strong sales (9,136) despite industrywide transportation issues.

The Acura brand’s June sales topped 13,000 units for the 4th straight month – the first time since 2021. Acura Integra topped 2,500 units in sales for the 5th straight month and continues to lead the luxury gateway segment. Acura RDX logged the best month (3,502) of 2023, combined with MDX (5,048) Acura SUVs’ top 8,500 in June sales.
