American Honda posted total sales of 121,017 vehicles in July, supported by record performance in light trucks (86,700 units) and electrified models (38,715 units).
The continued momentum reflects the strong market response to new products across both the Honda and Acura brands.
Honda Brand Highlights
Honda brand sales reached 110,927 units, up 6.2% year-to-date.
Light truck sales led the charge, achieving a record July total of 78,793 units, marking the sixth consecutive month of over 70,000 units sold.
- The CR-V remained Honda’s top seller with 32,268 units, over half of which were CR-V hybrids.
- The all-new Passport recorded a July sales record of 4,762 units, up 86.5% year-over-year, with TrailSport models accounting for roughly 75% of that mix.
- The Ridgeline posted its best July ever with 4,999 units, while the Odyssey continued its strong 2025 run, up 27.4% year-to-date.
- Other strong performers included the HR-V (11,715 units) and Pilot (9,910 units).
- The all-electric Honda Prologue saw record sales of 6,318 units, up 82.7% from last year.
- Honda passenger cars topped 30,000 units, led by the Civic (19,044 units). The Civic Hybrid also reached a record 41% of the model’s sales mix.
- Honda electrified models posted an all-time July record of 38,050 units.
Acura Brand Highlights
Acura reported 10,090 units sold in July, with SUV sales totaling 7,907 units, up 14.7% year-to-date, despite limited supply due to retooling at the East Liberty Plant.
The upgrade is preparing the facility for future production of internal combustion, hybrid, and EV models.
- Acura’s gateway models, the Integra and the all-new ADX, posted combined sales of 3,696 units. The ADX claimed a 20% share of its segment with 2,292 units, while the Integra more than doubled the sales of its nearest competitor with 1,404 units.
Year-to-Date Performance
So far in 2025, American Honda has sold 860,168 vehicles, up 6.1% year-to-date, with:
- Cars: 244,075 units (-8.0%)
- Trucks: 616,093 units (+12.9%)
Honda alone accounts for 781,692 of those units, up 6.2% overall.
Acura is up 4.4% year-to-date, with SUVs continuing to drive growth for the premium brand.
