An area man was injured following a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon just after 3 o’clock.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office reports Austin Furrow, 23, of West Liberty was westbound on State Route 287 when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveling off the right side of the road, and striking a group of trees.
The vehicle came to rest on its side.
Furrow suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Macochee Joint Ambulance District.
Furrow was wearing his seat belt.
He was cited for failure to control.
His vehicle suffered heavy damage.
