Eight area schools came together Tuesday night for the Fall Choir Festival at Bellefontaine High School, filling the main gym with a wide mix of choral performances.
Audiences heard from the Riverside Chorus, Calvary Christian High School Choir, Jackson Center High School Choir, West Liberty-Salem Varsity Choir, Indian Lake High School Chorale, Benjamin Logan High School Chorale, and both the Bellefontaine Concert and Symphonic Choirs.
Each group brought its own style to the stage, performing everything from upbeat modern pieces to traditional selections.
Soloists and featured vocalists from multiple schools helped highlight the range of talent across the region.
Festival director Brice Henry said, “I think the evening went very smoothly. All of the choirs are very talented, and it just shows that music is very strong in our area.”
The night closed with all eight choirs joining together for a combined performance of “The Lord Bless You and Keep You.”
