Bainbridge woman arrested for meth

Washington Township Police conducted a traffic stop on State Route 235 near Township Road 215 for a turn signal violation Friday evening around 9:00.

Upon making contact with the occupants, signs of drug use were observed.

A Jackson Center Police Department K9 was deployed and alerted to the odor of illegal drugs inside of the vehicle. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, a large amount of methamphetamine was located.

Barbara Patrick, 43, of Bainbridge, admitted the methamphetamine belonged to her.

Patrick was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail.

She was charged with possession of methamphetamine (bulk) and trafficking in methamphetamine.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office and Jackson Center Police Department assisted at the scene.
