The Bellefontaine High School Orchestra hosted the All City Strings concert in the BHS Auditorium last Thursday night.
The 6th Grade Orchestra, 7th Grade Orchestra, 8th Grade Orchestra, and BHS Orchestra each performed.
Special awards were presented to each orchestra.
Here are the 110% Award winners:
- Vivian Baker – 6th Grade
- Mireya Tolen – 7th Grade
- Gracelynn DeLong – 8th Grade
- Landon Severt – 9th Grade
- Constance Carmen – 10th Grade
- Oliver Grandstaff – 11th Grade
Two seniors received special awards:
- Ava Dolan – Director’s Award
- Gracie Hood – National Orchestra Award
The BHS senior orchestra members are Belen Abrego, Ava Dolan, Isabelle Gunnett, Gracie Hood, Raya Millis, Chloe Stolly, and Emma Suman.
There are 122 orchestra members in grades 6-12.
The BCS Orchestra Director is Laura Mitchell.

In February, the Bellefontaine High School Orchestra earned a Superior rating at the OMEA State Orchestra Adjudicated Event.
The BHS Orchestra will perform at Kings Island on April 25th.
The BMS and BHS orchestras will be featured at the Fine Arts Festival at BHS on May 13th.
