The Village of Belle Center has issued a water boil advisory for the entire village after a recent water main break.
Residents are advised to boil all water for at least five minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing their teeth, or any other purpose.
If water appears discolored or cloudy, officials advise running the tap until the water clears before boiling.
According to the village, the advisory will remain in effect until water samples can be collected and tested to confirm the water is safe to consume.
Officials apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation, and hope to lift the advisory on Friday morning.
