A Belle Center woman was arrested early Monday morning on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence and persistent disorderly conduct.
Deputies were called to a home on Charles Street around 2 a.m. after a 14-year-old reported her mother, 37-year-old Bre-Anna Roberts, had been gone for several hours and was not answering her phone.
The girl later told dispatchers her mother had texted her and asked her to call 911.
Roberts later returned home in a white Honda sedan.
Deputies found the car in the driveway with the engine running and loud music playing.
Roberts appeared intoxicated and admitted to drinking.
She refused to take sobriety tests and became argumentative with deputies.
She was taken into custody after trying to walk away.
During transport and booking at the Logan County Jail, Roberts continued to be uncooperative.
Deputies also found two unopened containers of alcohol in her vehicle.
Roberts was booked into the Logan County Jail on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence and persistent disorderly conduct.
