According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a car on US 33 near State Route 292 on Tuesday afternoon.
The driver, Taylor Newman, 30, of Belle Center, was driving on a suspended driver’s license.
Further investigation revealed it was suspended due to a previous OVI.
Newman told deputies she knew she wasn’t allowed to drive.
During the stop, deputies saw an open can of vodka in the back seat.
They also found another unopened can on the front seat.
Newman was arrested for driving on a suspended license and was cited for having an open container of alcohol.
Her car was towed, and she was taken to the Logan County Jail.
